These policies govern both the operation of Seedling behind the scenes, and hold the curators accountable to their users. We want to be transparent about the sites we choose to feature on Seedling, and we hope that the policies help explain our practice in maintaining the gallery. Seedling and the content on plantseedling.net is the copyright of Firm Reliance Media. Sites included on Seedling are the copyright of their respective owners and Firm Reliance Media makes no claim to them.
Sites included on Seedling are chosen based on the tastes of the curators. Site authors have no influence over decisions regarding inclusion or featured sites. Seedling accepts no influence (monetary or not) for the content of the gallery.
The curators try to be positive in their site descriptions. If you are a site owner and believe our description is erroneous or negative, please contact us with the reasons why the description should be revised. Site owners are not allowed to write their own descriptions.
If you do not want your site included or featured on Seedling, please contact the curators. We reserve the right to verify that you are indeed the site owner before removing your site.
Site submissions are treated as suggestions. We have no obligation to post a submitted site to the gallery, but we will certainly consider the site nonetheless. If your reason for inclusion is particularly good, we may post it verbatim on the Seedling gallery. Site owners are welcome to submit their own sites, provided they mention that in the reasons for inclusion.
Any websites owned and maintained by the curators will not be included in the Seedling gallery. Any website that Seedling advertises on will not be included in the gallery for two months after the time of the advertisement.
