John Rust
John is a college student majoring in journalism, focusing on marketing and communications. When he's not doing school, he does freelance web design and videography and enjoys every minute of it. He occasionally writes posts at http://johnrust.net.
Jonathan Davies
Jonathan is a student in the UK. He is constantly coming up with ideas for businesses, most of them terrible. His passions include writing on his weblog, capturing moments through photography and watching the latest Grand Prix. In his little free time he advises small businesses with regards to their web strategy.
Marcelo Somers
Marcelo works at Sabre Holdings developing new travel technology products. When he's not at work or studying for his MBA, he enjoys spending time with his newlywed wife and their dog, playing frisbee, and taking photos. Marcelo also blogs about business strategy at http://behindcompanies.com.
About the Site
Seedling runs on the latest version of WordPress, with some help from jQuery. The code is complemented with a fair number of additional plugins to assist in security, caching, and custom post types. Sites on Seedling are organized through a custom post database, with some PHP hackery for the RSS feeds. The code for the site was made using Coda, TextMate, and CSSEdit. Large amounts of coffee were consumed in the making of this site.
